Kobe Bryant, shooting guard for the Lakers, has confirmed that the possibility of this being his last season could be very real. The Lakers are not pushing for him to renew his contract, and with his $48.5 million dollar contract that he signed in 2013 coming to a close at the end of the season, it seems like it’d be the right time to leave. Bryant spoke with LA Times reporter Eric Pincus about the situation and said,” As I sit here right now, do I want to play after next year? No. That could change.” Most of Bryant’s frustration has stemmed from his injuries that he “doesn’t want to deal with anymore.” If you’re a Lakers fan, or a Kobe fan, consider getting tickets to a game this upcoming season – it could be your last chance to see Bryant in action.
